Removing rusted nuts and bolts
Hi,
Just thought I'd share this video on a simple way to remove rusted lug nuts. I never saw or heard of this technique before, and so others might not have heard of it either:

Enjoy.

Where to find a parts manual?
Hi,
Anyone have any idea where I can find a International Harvester parts manual, MT-502 for medium duty trucks? It would have been originally published in the early 1980's and I don't know when the last publication date was. Although I'd prefer an original, I'll take a photocopy or pdf of the book ...

Re: In line transmission filter?
Below is a picture of a traditional cellulose filter media compared to the newer Baldwin B7311-MPG synthetic nano-technology filter media shown below it. The red dots represent in size a 2 micron and 5 micron particle. This was taken with a scanning electron microscope magnified 1000 times. I think ...

Re: In line transmission filter?
As a follow-up, if you were running a manual transmission, IH has been making manual transmission filter kits too since the 1960's. I could give you all the IH part numbers if you want, but here is a reproduction manual transmission filter kit that should work as well as an original IH kit:

Re: In line transmission filter?
hi,
If you want the very best inline transmission filter money can buy, get a Wix base, part number 24770 and screw a Baldwin B7311-MPG filter onto it and plumb it into your trans cooler line. This is also the very best filter we could ever put on our IH engine too. Here's a little bit about that ...

Re: Ignition Distributor Rebuilder?
I think that was All Four Wheel Drive when they were in Anaheim but that was forever plus 20 years ago, they have since moved to Corona or what's now called Temescal Valley. They rebuilt mine, recurved it and installed a petronix. I don't know who does that kind of work in your area.
What makes ...

Ignition Distributor Rebuilder?
Hi,
There used to be an ignition distributor rebuilder I believe in Orange County. Does anyone remember who he was and / or how to contact him? I remember he told me he has rebuilt the distributors for several Scouts for ScoutsWest members.
Thank you.
Steve
