All in all, I think with the time frame of getting things done, it was a great event. All who volunteered did a wonderful job, Thank you everyone.
Yes there was some hiccups here and there, but things are easily solved.

I do have to agree with Marco. The food was probably the worst part of the event. I can understand saving a few dollars here and there, but getting a fast food joint to cater the event? Why? It wasn't even warm when I went through and I thought I was pretty close to the front. We might as well have bought a bunch of frozen Hormel BBQ and heated it up on our engines for an hour.

But like I said, it was a great event all in all and looking forward to next year already. I have already put my hat in to help Volunteer next year besides what my Chapter does.

Hmn, some exhaust fumes would have given it a better flavor...

FOOD! Well I think we will revisit the food situation before next years event. SUGGESTIONS! Caterers? Post up thoughts so we can check them out before next year.

What about tacos?

I have a friend, does taquizas! Like 4 tacos per person, salsa, etc... Also does chicken and steak fajitas.

I can talk to him, it is his slow period and he has like 3 or 4 set ups.

GOOD:
We raised a ton of money for a good cause
Fun was had by everyone who went trail riding.
I might be in the minority but I thought the food was pretty good. Could have been warmer but that would be my only complaint.
Frankly I don't sign up for such an event expecting Gourmet catering. for me this event means an opportunity to hang out with friends, raise money and do some riding. I would be OK with hamburgers and hot dogs.

BAD:
Registration issues due to unforeseen circumstance. Big John and Ruthie did an awesome job filling in last minute.

Someone should talk to Dooley about the guy who catered his wedding. The chicken was SOOOOOO good. Drool worthy. (I'm still thinking about it.) He sells his BBQ sauce in a few local Idyllwild shops. I'd buy it next time I'm up there. Oh - the sides were good too. :) Would definitely recommend him.

As for the rest of it. We raised a substantial about of $$ fora great cause. Which, besides wheeling and hanging out, is the point of this shindig.

Yes, there were hiccups. Everyone willing to help stepped up and did what they could. Even those who consistently do more than they should. Lessons have been learned and can be incorporated into next years event planning. Thank you to those who volunteered and/or provided services. Go team!!!!

One thing that did go wrong - Can we discuss the women's T-shirts? They're a little um, snug.

No idea why manufacturers are so completely jacked when it comes to women's clothing. It's stupid. In men's, a large is a large is a large. In women's a large can be a small, medium, or large. WTF!?! Whoever does order the shirts - can they get the measurement sizing (and post it) so us ladies can order the appropriate size for our chesticles?

Thanks.

Volunteers are always a plus, and a necessity. This is a problem we have EVERY year. Can't get better without the help of the masses and a rarity that we do get help.
For those who read this, the same people who do this event every year are starting to get a little burnt out and would love to be just a participant and not always making sure things get done as we want to enjoy also without constantly worrying about if A, B, or C is done.
As far as the food, things changed without my knowledge which won't happen again (will it!) another live and learn lesson
Judging; The forms are perfect. Back to volunteers again
As far as complaints; you're not going to please everyone every time. Just the way it is and will always be.
As an overview
In my opinion all had a great time and that's the bottom line. Everyone went home happy
