WOW,Grapevine Chapter work party meeting

Here's what went on. The work party actually started Monday that week. Members coming over after work. Saturday the 14 0930 new member Darryl shows up. 71 Scout II. His project install new locking hubs. With guidance as he has never done that before. Done . Then some in dash electrical stuff. Steve Rincon shows up with his Jeep. Front brake pads needed to be R&R. Jeremiah running late. He and Travies are on a rescue mission. Rick Noel should up around 1300 due to work and attacked his Scout. Jeremiah got here and R&Red a broken spring leaf. and hub. Ian showed up in his new old Toyota. They had to fix some electrical and timing stuff. MORE TO COME. Then home made Chile , Yankee corn bred, Salad, and fruit salad. Then back to work. 2245 hrs. 1045 Pm the work stopped.
Sunday were off to 4 Wheel parts Customer appreciation day at Hungry Valley OHV Park. Jeremiah and Johnny led two runs. Jeremiah fan exploded. Shrapnel every where. Radiator destroyed. Johnny broke an axle. Ian in route to the event, well his tojo over heated. He parked it Went home and came back with my old Black Scout Traveler. Food fun for all. Me I was there in my 6X6.
Are we done With the work party? NOOOO. More rigs being worked on most of the week. Matt and Austin came up and stabbed the engine and trans into the Scout.
Saturday 21 Oct. Marco came up and R&R the starter motor in his Scout. He put in the new Hi torque starter. Fired the Scout and you heard her running on FB. Jeremiah left early Saturday morn to get an exhaust system put on Rick noel Scout.
Sunday 22 Oct. Matt and Austin hung the T case. Then rigs had to be moved all over the place.
And Johnny went on a mission to retrieve his new Motor home. An International Harvester school. Well no brakes. Just the E-Brake on the drive line. Went to fire the engine, Well the engine is frozen. The long tow to a friends house in Lockwood Valley.
And the work goes on. Yep were having a lot of fun up here. And I see the work party down south went good also.
