Rewiring 1979 Scout P.U.

Wiring 1979 Scout P.U. for a friend. He bought a " Scout Parts " harness.
New bulk head plug fits in place, but new fuse block has a fairly long tail.
Not being familiar with the Scout makes me wonder if it located somewhere toward passenger side. Any advise is welcome. Jim
