Re: Carb conversion

Without knowing who made the claims in your attachment it would be impossible to give you an opinion. ;)

FI TECH is not well regarded in the off-roading community.

Free Scout II Hardtop

There is a Scout II Hardtop on craigslist "free". Located in Santa Anna.

Doubt it will last long, pictures don't reveal much about the condition. No windows or rear lift.

Not my post so I cant offer any specifics, just passing the information on.

Re: body shop in san diego county

I've found that every body shop I've contacted over many years, are expensive in California.

Much of the expense seems to come from government regulations and compliance with the myriad of laws here (environmental, occupational, and industrial). I have a shop that I trust implicitly, the work is ...

Scout II Rain Channel

Does anyone have a junk steel Scout II hard top that they would be willing to give up a section of rain rail - 4". I need a section to replace a rusted out piece and figured it would be easier to weld in a replacement from a donor, rather than to bend a replacement myself.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: 4 shifters?

It's most likely an overdrive, which would give you one shift leaver, two leavers for the transfer case, and a forth controlling the overdrive. I've got a Saturn overdrive from a Scout 80 that looks like what your describe.

A '75 would be a Scout II, so I'm not sure exactly which vehicle you have ...

Re: 1964 Travelall

Interest is most often linked to price :-)

I have seen a particular Scout II for sale for years, the seller is asking over $200K. If you really like to gauge interest post some pictures and price and see what happens.

Just my .02- good luck!

Scout II T-Shirts

Came across Scout II T-Shirts on Bass Pro and thought I'd share.

Strange part is that if you go directly to Cabelas and look at the Off Road T-Shirts they show a Bronco on the shirts, but none with a Scout.
