They didn’t know the enormity of giving me that award, I was beside myself. The last time I was singled out at a meeting I was being screamed at, the leadership of a club I was in twisted my brain injury into a behavior problem. And the people that repeatedly did what they knew I couldn’t handle were being lauded as my victims, I’ve never seen something so upside down. For the F.S. to recognize what’s really happening is beyond awesome!!! We’ve talked extensively about it, and they support bringing in more veterans. I think the turn around is mostly due to the F.S. employee on the far left having a son that did three tours Regular Army Infantry.
