CA Fish and Game declined to accept the petition from Center for Biologincal Diversity to list the flat-tailed horned lizard as a CA endangered species. For now, the CBD has a set back. But they will try again.

Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, Superior Court, Co. of San Bernardino issued its final decision on the Ocotillo Wells SVRA litigation. It found in favor of the Cal. ST. Parks and OHV intervenors. A HUGE WIN for OHV community TDS 4 Wheel Drive Club of San Diego played a huge roll.
PEER and DPC groups sought to restrict use that would have effectively shut down the area for OHV use.
