Hi all,
I have rear dana 44 with 3.73 gear ratio on a 1968 scout 800 v8 4x4.
Is this your stock rear axle or another from like a Scout II? Brake shoes are different sizes between 800 (11"x1.75") and 74-80 Scout II (11"x2.25").

Scout 80 only came with the 9 gallon side saddle tanks.
Anything that you have in the rear is something a previous owner installed.
I have heard of Scout II metal 19 gallon tanks being installed in the rear between the rails, but I have not seen one personally.

It depends on the style seats that you want.
Obviously stock bucket seats will bolt on to the bases.
Only other seat that I have heard that will bolt up directly is PT Cruiser seats 2000-2005 that I know of. I have 2004 seats in mine.
Other aftermarket seats like Smittybuilt, Trailgear, Besttop, etc ...

Really hard to say with your Grill gone and appears your vin plate on the firewall is missing.
But the fact it appears it has a fold down windshield I would have to say it’s a 1962 Scout 80.
Also the dash looks to have two gauges which also pints towards a Scout 80.
